Vacancy: Membership and Administrative Officer (Full-time)

  • Hours: Full time (37 hr/week)
  • Salary scale: £25,918 - £30,237 per annum depending on previous experience
  • Location: Hybrid working subject to negotiation (minimum of two days a week in Perth office)

As our Membership Admin Officer, you will be one of the first people our members, clubs and the public speak to. You will provide excellent service by phone and email, keep membership records and payments accurate, support online bookings and events, help members and club committees use our JustGo membership system, and contribute to the smooth running of our Perth office.


Vacancy: Communications and Digital Content Officer (Full-time)

  • Hours: Full-time contract (37hr/wk)
  • Salary scale: £31,389 - £36,573 pa (depending on experience)
  • Location: Hybrid (min 2 days/week in Perth office)

Are you a creative communicator who can turn great ideas into engaging stories, campaigns and content? Do you want your work to make a real difference for Scotland’s hill walkers, climbers and ski tourers? 

Mountaineering Scotland is looking for a talented and proactive Communications and Digital Content Officer to join our Member Services and Communications team. We are the national organisation representing Scotland’s mountaineering community, supported by around 16,000 members and 130 affiliated clubs.

You’ll help raise our profile, grow and engage our membership, and connect people with the places and issues that matter. From shaping social media campaigns and producing website and email content to leading the editorial production of Scottish Mountaineer magazine and developing news stories, this is a varied role with plenty of scope for creativity.
